A Predicament

I call that one "Cat on a Post".

A very tall post:

Verrrrrry tall:

"Hey, I can see da U.P., eh"

Maverick was minding his own business hunting wabbits in the pasture when the doggies flushed him up the pole. They meant no harm. Luci just wanted to love him. But I won't get into that...

He sat up there for a good while, waiting for the dogs to get interested in something else.

He's just fine. A little P.O.'d, but just fine:

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Wrangler was very worried about his lil' buddy:

Maverick really wanted to make sure he got away!! He's a brave kitty to make that climb... and then find a way down! :)

Such a flair for drama! Glad the down hill climb was without incident, out cats seem to be pushing the nine lives thing to the hilt.

How cute, we have a cat that would climb tall posts, once we seen him on top of a power pole, glad he got down cause I wasnt goona risk my life to rescue a cat.

Maverick, climbing that pole was a bit over dramatic... The top fence rail most would of done the trick with Luci....LOL

Great shots! It's when the trees have branches... skinny branches... and my big cat gets out on them and freezes that I try to help. Fortunately, only once so far!
